Medical Gas Piping
Medical Gas piping is most commonly used in health care facilities such as hospitals, dental offices and surgery centers.
- NFPA 99 code requires installation personnel to have ASSE 6010 and ASME IX Brazer Certification.
- 911 Plumbing and Heating has Certification #12358305.
We provide installation services of oxygen, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, compressed air, carbon dioxide, medical air, helium and medical vacuum, all patient and medical support gases.
NFPA 99 establishes fundamental criteria for levels of health care services or systems based on risk to the patients, staff or visitors in a health care facility. Category 1 facility systems in which failure of such equipment or system is likely to cause major injury or death of patients or care givers; Category 2 facility systems in which failure of such equipment is likely to cause minor injury to patients or care givers; Category 3 facility systems in which failure of such equipment is not likely to cause injury to patients or care givers, but can cause patient discomfort; Category 4 facility systems in which failure of such equipment would have no impact on patients care. We are licensed to work on all four category facility systems.
911 Plumbing and Heating was there to install the medical gas piping systems at the Sletten Cancer Research remodel in Great Falls Montana and the Parker Medical Center in Lincoln Montana. We devote many hours of continuing education and research in the medical gas industry to stay knowledgeable of the advances in this field.
